It’s January and most of us are hunkered down, working through our Q1 things that we have to get done for the various companies, enterprises, and organizations we work with. Wizer’s tame hacker, (Chris Roberts) has been hard at work with the team here on curating our latest phishing simulation tests.

Feel free to take a sneak peek below into the new emails and landing pages!

Or...jump right in to phish with the new templates here.

Corporate Holidays

This is a nice one. It’s short, direct, helps people to understand things, AND provides them with the HR portal that nobody ever remembers to bookmark (like the helpful folks we are…)

UDrive Cloud Storage

Once again, the logic here is to show the caring/sharing side of the organization (because we all know they really care for us….ish) by partnering up with a backup company BECAUSE we all know ransomware is a huge problem! This one will be nice because it’s often the case that HR or another department partners with other external entities to bring value into the org.

Tax Workshop

There’s no better time than Q1 to get your taxes sorted, especially when employees are thinking about the end of January as being the 1099 time, and how to maximize deductions and refunds. Our tax phishing email conveys a sense of urgency, is relevant in the US, AND is “helpful.”

Your W2 Is Ready

ADP and W2’s are crucial at this time of the year AND it’s about how companies release these critical documents, so this one should be able to slip past most folks' radar. Who doesn’t want their W2 as soon as possible so that they can complete their taxes and receive a refund?

AS always, we hope these are used in the spirit that they are presented, as education tools, as ways to help your teams understand HOW and WHY an attacker, adversary, or criminal will try to coerce information from them. They are designed to be lifelike, to be as close to reality as possible, and therefore please realize that the intent is to educate... NOT to harm.
