This was honestly the best and most interesting webinar I have ever witnessed. As a Michigan resident in Oakland County, I feel much safer knowing the steps that my government is taking to keep things running smoothly.
In a time where it seems like the world has gone mad, leaders from all over the world are pulling together to make sure their company and workers are safe. Several of them came together to discuss the challenges, best practices, and implementation of risk-proof strategies in the midst of an ever changing environment.
Take a moment to watch this and find out what happens when renowned hacker, Chris Roberts, and several government technology professionals are put in the same room. Take something away from it. Add it to your home school curriculum to share it with future generations interested in careers in technology. Communicate with us on the things you are implementing for your company. We will be doing more of these. That's how amazing it was!
Huge amounts of gratitude go out to Chris Roberts who kept it fun and engaging while asking the questions on everyone's mind, and our panelists:
Rishma Khimji, IT Director for the City of Reno, NV
Michael Steben, CIO for the City of Pittsfield, MA
Jenny Hedderman, Esq., Risk Counsel, Office of Comptroller for the Commonwealth of MA
Carl Wilson, CIO for the County of Genesee, MI
TJ Fields, CISO for the County of Oakland, MI
Be safe. Keep your distance. Wash your hands. We will get through this. In the meantime, head over to Wizer for free security awareness training and special Work From Home content at https://wizer-training.com/work-from-home.
